Kevin Jones, OD, is the dedicated optometrist behind Family EyeCare Center, PC, in Pella, Iowa. Dr. Jones has over a decade of experience in the optometry field, and he offers an extensive menu of eye care, including digital eye exams, contact lenses and eyeglasses, eye disease screening and treatment, glaucoma management, and much more. Dr. Jones offers both appointments and urgent care for eye emergencies.

Dr. Jones grew up in Ontario, Canada. He developed an early interest in optometry and pursued his goal by earning a pre-optometry degree at the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. Then, Dr. Jones earned his optometry degree at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago.

After earning his optometry degree, Dr. Jones gained extensive experience in ocular pathology during his training at Southern Vitreoretinal Associates in Tallahassee, Florida. He's particularly interested in eye disease treatment. He uses state-of-the-art instruments and the latest technology to detect eye disease in early stages so he can help patients preserve their vision.

Dr. Jones enjoys working with patients of all ages, and many families in the Pella area, from infants to seniors, rely on him for all their eye care needs. Reid P. Turner, M.D., received his Bachelor of Arts at Central College and went on to receive his Medical Degree with a distinction in teaching at the University of Iowa. While doing his transition years at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, he even completed a rotation through Wolfe Eye Clinic. Dr. Turner excelled during his ophthalmology residency at the respected Storm Eye Institute at the Medical University of South Carolina. He was elected Chief Resident by his peers, the Valloton Award for Academic Excellence for two years straight and was three times named Teacher of the Month in the College of Medicine. He has been seeing patients with Wolfe Eye Clinic since August 2018.
